      Samuel Serpa
      Founder & Editor-in-Chief

      Samuel Serpa is a Brazilian journalist with international credentials (International Press Card BR21018) and the founding voice behind arch gallery & design. Holding degrees in both Journalism and Interior Design, with a postgraduate specialization in Design from FAAP (Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado) in São Paulo, he brings a rare dual fluency to his work — the rigor of a journalist and the trained eye of a designer.

      Based between New York and São Paulo, Samuel covers the full spectrum of the creative world: architecture, interior design, contemporary art, and authorial design. He has built the magazine’s reputation on in-depth reporting, artist profiles, and an editorial sensibility that treats craft and creativity as serious cultural subjects.

      At arch gallery & design, Samuel writes, edits, and directs the publication’s editorial vision — taking each story from studio visit to finished page with the same level of care and curiosity.
